We had the blessing of having Grandma Sorensen stay at my parents house over the thanksgiving break. She is such a neat lady and we love her like crazy. The picture is of Grams holding Ava and Asher.

Cousin love!

Not bad for ammetuers

While we were all in town for the weekend we decided to get family pictures done. Because of our last minute decision we were unable to find a professional photographer that would be able to take our picture during the time we were able to all be together. So, we got dressed up and called a friend to come and take pictures using our camera instead.

38 weeks

I am thirty eight weeks and not dialated at all. My students just did their end of the year program for their parents and did a great job. They are so cute. I am going to miss them. School gets out tomorrow and I couldn't be more ready. I am so tired and sore by the time that I get home.

Thanks Diane

Yesterday was my shower in Richfield. My mother-in-law Diane hosted it for me. We had it in her neighbors backyard. It was nice and shady with a little breeze. There were so many family members and friends that came. Ava and I got spoiled. I can't wait to dress her in all of her cute outfits. Thank you to everyone who was able to come. It was such a fun day to share with all of you.

Happy Birthday Love!!!

Jason's birthday was on Saturday but technically we started his birthday on Thursday. I am absolutely terribley at waiting to give gifts. I want you to open presents the second I get them. Luckily Jason was kind enough to oblige and opened his presents from me on Thursday. Friday night we went to dinner at a local pizza/pasta place and then spent the rest of the evening at home lounging and watch the NBA playoffs. Saturday we slept in and then headed to Richfield where Jason was spoiled. His parents/family gave hime guitar hero world tour with the Metalica game and an additional foot pedal. He also received a cord to be able to hook his iPod up to the TV and watch movies. We spent the rest of the day Saturday visiting with his family and doing whatever Jason wanted. Then on Sunday my parents gave Jason his birthday dinner. We had shrimp boil and invited the Monroe's over to try it out. Unfortunately his sister and mom were not able to make it but everyone else had a great time. Thanks mom and dad for cooking for us and letting us take up the couch to watch the game on the big screen. Happy Birthday Jas. I hope you had as much fun as I did.

Triple Shower

Last week a couple of my co-workers/friends threw a shower for myself and the two other ladies that are pregnant at my school. We are all due within a month of eachother and all having girls. We started the shower outside but just as we got food on our plates and started to sit down here came the rain. We mad rushed inside and squished into the family room. It was such a treat to share my shower with the other two ladies. They are wonderful and I was overwhelmed by how many teachers/co-workers came. I am going to miss all of these wonderful people so much next year.

7 months

Only two months left. I am getting excited and scared.

The Jazz Bear!

Last week my school got a special visit by the Jazz Bear. It was a lot of fun and the students were super excited. I guess that is a perk of being a teacher.

Happy Birthday Lance

Last weekend my family got together to celebrate Lance's birthday. His request was to have a shrimp boil. His birthday is really the end of April but he was kind enough to wait until the whole family could get together. I am so glad that my uncle John taught us such a fun way to eat.

A day of fun at the park!

Last week I got to go to the park with my mother and sister in law and some special friends. Heidi brought Brandon with her. It was fun to get to spend time with him and get to know him a little better. We went to the park in Beaver and had a great time. I didn't think to put on sunscreen and got fried.

Six Months

Here is a picture of me at six months. I can't believe I only have three months left.

Easter

One of my favorite holidays has come again. Easter!!! YEAH!!! Friday night we headed down to Richfield and died Easter eggs. Saturday we set out for our usual Easter egg hunt. Jason barrowed the rhino for me from his dads work for a little more comfortable ride while six months pregnant. Because of the weather we went to a new location just north of our house in Richfield up by the shooting range. This year we put some eggs up and then sat in a line and had a competition. If you hit your egg you stayed in and if you missed you were out. The first round Lance was the only one to stay in. Mom had us go again. This time it was between her and the brother and brothers-in-law. Mom ended up winning. Then we all would just load and shoot until you were out of bullets. Just as we were running out of eggs it started to hail. We loaded up and headed for home. Thanks Jas for getting the rhino it was a nice ride.

It's a girl!!

It is official we are having a girl. We went and had our ultrasound done yesterday. It was a lot of fun we were joined by both of our moms and each of our sisters and my sweet nephew Asher who is growing like crazy. It was a fun day. After we got done at the doctor I talked Jason into going to IKEA and we made out first baby purchase. It is a really cute changing table/ book shelf. Mandy has the same one and we both really like it so we got our own. Thanks everyone for such a great day.

My baby bump!

Here is a picture of my baby bump at 19 weeks. I am starting to feel a lot better and have been able to feel the baby kick for a couple of weeks. Jason got to feel it for the first time tonight. We are finding out what it is next Friday.

Fishing with the fam!

Last weekend Jason and I got to go fishing with some of my uncles and cousins up to our favorite spot, Fish Lake. My Uncle John and Uncle Jim and their boys get a cabin up to fish lake for one weekend during the winter and go ice fishing. This year we were invited. It was a lot of fun. Instead of going just off the shore we were bussed across the lake to the other side on four wheelers where we were all by ourselves. I only caught one fish but it was fun to get to spend time with my family. Thanks for the invite Danny.

Asher Ellis Larsen has arrived!!!

My beautiful nephew is here and doing well. He is 21" long and weighs 7 pounds even. Both mom and baby are doing wonderful and dad seems to be bubbling with excitement. Asher has a dimple in his chin which both families were very excited about. Both Lance and Mandy have one. My Grandma Sorensen was especially excited about the dimple because Grandpa had one.
